Lupines and Cedars

Welcome to my website and collection of watercolors. These are my paintings of landscapes, flowers, and gardens. The beautiful scenery of the Hudson Valley, the Hudson River, mountains, rustic farms, and the gardens of great historic estates are my incentive and inspiration to paint. I am also a frequent summer visitor to Cape Cod where I find endless scenery to paint.

Recently I have enjoyed painting 'en plein air' and will be adding more of these sketches below when available. These are sketches done on location which I later hope to use for studio paintings.
